POETRY WHICH GIVES LIFE
I
said walk the earth
not
to fly into the ethers
Because
poetry does not change a person
She
rejoices or suffers with him
It
mutates into infinity
the
invisible world of his hopes
He
finds a source to cool off
a
bank to rest on
a
way to wake up
It
gets light from the sun
the
salt from the sea
He
takes sorrow from hearts
and
gives an auspicious time
in
the tide of his life
It
gives me chills
and
comes back to life
performing
a ritual
the
half-dead smile
of
his dreams.
THIRSTY
Sadness
will always follow us
of
all wars
The
blood that flowed on the ground
and
mother earth swallowed it without complaint (?).
The
broken heart of children
it
will weigh on us
They
may have grown up
to
raise their own children
and
to leave this vain world
covered
however by a mountain of ferocity
unhappy
and distressed
from
hunger
thirsting
for love and happiness
There
are no wars of salvation
because
weapons do not tame the soul
Faded
the horses of pain
they
trample every scum for life.
